Adam Zoubir (Associate) read Oriental Studies at Oxford University, before converting to law and attending Bar School at the College of Law, London. He subsequently obtained a LL.M from King’s College, London.
He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2005 and did pupillage at 4 King’s Bench Walk in the Inner Temple before going on to practise as a tenant from the same Chambers.
Whilst at the Bar, Adam undertook a range of civil work, with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation, including a professional negligence claim worth £1m. He also regularly provided advisory services to companies in the UK and overseas and appeared as junior counsel for the defendant in a seven-week fraud trial that was later appealed to the Court of Appeal.
Adam was admitted to the Bar of the Cayman Islands in 2011, having joined Ritch & Conolly as an associate. He is specialising in litigation arising out of corporate insolvency and is currently acting, with Cherry Bridges, for the Joint Official Liquidators of the SphinX group of companies.
