Emma is a Solicitor of Ireland (2007), the Supreme Court (England & Wales) (2008), and Attorney-at-Law (Cayman Islands). She was admitted in the Cayman Islands in September 2024. Prior to joining Ritch & Conolly, Emma worked at Ritch & Conolly’s affiliated registered office, Foreshore Corporate Services Ltd. for sixteen years. Emma commenced her employment in the Cayman Islands with Royal Bank of Canada in their Trust department.
Emma has almost twenty years’ experience of which over seventeen years have been spent living and working in the Cayman Islands.
Emma is an integral member of our Corporate, Commercial, Litigation, Immigration, Licensing and Real Estate teams. Emma’s practice areas include: advice regarding the formation and registration of various corporate vehicles under the Company’s Act, advice on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, licensing applications to the Department of Commerce and Investment pursuant to the Trade and Business Licensing Act, the Liquor Licensing Act and Local Companies (Control) Act, advising on employment matters and advising on immigration matters. Emma also advises vendors, purchasers and developers on all aspects of the sale, purchase, leasing and development of commercial and residential real estate and provides advice to banks and borrowers on commercial and residential lending transactions.
